Senior medical students from the University of Fiji are gaining advanced clinical exposure through Dr Sanjeev Khulbey’s cardiac surgery mentorship programme at PSH Hospital. The initiative reflects Dr. Khulbey’s commitment to academic excellence, clinical leadership, and the development of future cardiac specialists.

As part of a structured two-week cardiac surgery training programme, Year 4 and Year 5 MBBS students observe complex heart surgeries under Dr. Khulbey’s direct supervision. The programme offers real-time insight into operative planning, cardiothoracic surgical techniques, and patient safety protocols within a high-standard surgical environment.
